Outlook for May Through July Shows Warmer and Wetter Than Normal Conditions Expected for Most of Region

By  Pam Knox

The latest monthly and 3-month outlook maps were released this week by NOAA. They show that while the central part of the US is more likely to experience colder than normal air, here in the Southeast we are continuing to lean towards warmer conditions than usual. Wetter conditions than usual are also expected for the next three months in most parts of the Southeast. While things are dry now in Florida, the dry conditions are expected to improve or be removed over the next three months.
