Prime Minister Trudeau Announces Aid for Agricultural Sector

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced five-billion dollars for farmers and producers who are struggling financially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He says they can apply through Farm Credit Canada for the support they need to keep putting food on Canadians' tables.

Parliament is meeting today to debate a multi-billion-dollar aid package. There will be just enough members in the house to form a quorum.
