Saskatchewan Cattle Prices Are Moving Upward In Latest Weekly Summary

 
 
Cattle prices across Saskatchewan were mainly moving upward in the latest weekly summary from the Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture.
 
Feeder steers were up as much as five dollars 50 cents per hundredweight.
 
The benchmark 500 to 600 pound feeder steer category was up 38 cents to 205 dollars 38 cents per hundredweight.
 
Feeder heifers were up as much as 8 dollars from the previous week.
 
Overall, feeder heifer prices averaged about four dollars per hundredweight higher.
 
Cattle marketings were 11,340 head, a jump of 400 head from the week before.
