A delegation of international representatives from Canada's Diplomatic Corps arrived in Saskatchewan. While in the province, the delegation will learn about Saskatchewan's essential role in global food and energy security. The mission will run from October 6 to 8, 2026.
“Saskatchewan has built strong relationships around the world, exporting our products to more than 160 countries last year,” Premier Scott Moe said. “This visit is an opportunity to show international representatives how our food, energy, resources and expertise can help meet the needs of a growing world. By strengthening these connections, we can open new doors for Saskatchewan businesses and create more opportunities here at home.”
This mission is hosted by Global Affairs Canada which partners with provinces to promote economic opportunities across the country to diverse foreign markets through diplomatic missions.
The mission includes representatives from Bulgaria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Slovenia, Tanzania, Zambia and others.
