Seeding Options for Livestock Producers

As we know, pastures and hayland were stressed last year due to factors such as dry conditions, grasshoppers, over grazing and a long winter. On yesterday’s program, Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist at the Ag-Info Centre, discussed some seeding options to help plan to avoid future feed shortages. I asked him about the economics of these options.
