Straw-grain rations and nutrition requirements

First off today we continue our interview with Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist at the Ag-Info Centre, about feeding a straw-grain ration to pregnant cows. Yaremcio says when considering a straw-grain ration for pregnant cows, some nutritional concerns need to be addressed. Yesterday he took a look at protein requirements. Today, minerals and vitamins.
