Syngenta Canada names new head of marketing, crop protection

Syngenta Canada has named Dale Kobelsky as head of marketing, crop protection, effective April 1, 2026. In his new role, Kobelsky will lead the national marketing team and be responsible for the marketing strategy for the Canadian crop protection business.

“Dale is a customer-focused, collaborative leader with a deep understanding of Canadian agriculture and how it shapes our business,” says Shaun Vey, president, Syngenta Canada. “His strategic mindset and ability to approach challenges with creativity have proven valuable in navigating changing market dynamics. Dale’s strong marketing background will be instrumental in driving the continued success of the Canadian crop protection business.”

Kobelsky brings 15 years of dedicated experience with Syngenta to this leadership position. Most recently, he served as head of professional solutions (SPS) for Canada, where he was recognized for his contributions to a business that is a clear market leader. Throughout his tenure, he has held several key crop protection marketing roles, including product lead, head of customer relationship management, and marketing and customer insight manager.
