Whole Hog Youth Ambassador Program Among Highlights at Saskatchewan Pork Industry Symposium 2025

New series of “Whole Hog” videos, produced through the Saskatchewan Pork Development Board’s Whole Hog Youth Ambassador Program, is helping to inspire the next generation of pork industry leaders.

The latest three-and-a-half-minute videos showcase the wide range of career opportunities available within the pork sector — extending beyond barn production to include roles in science, education, business, and technology.

Jessica Podhordeski, Community Relations and Ag Education Coordinator with Sask Pork, said the goal of the program is to engage students in Grades 5 through 12 and help them understand how food is produced and the diverse people behind it.
