While digging an irrigation drench, he found a blue drum filled with cash. The total amount? US$600,000,000! Some believe the money belonged to Pablo Escobar, who has allegedly amassed a fortune of up to US$30 billion.
Cartolos isn’t allowed to keep the money. Instead, the federal government will use the cash to fund social and economic programs.
