Farmers asked to report on plant growth from the field

A few weeks have passed since Farms.com sent out a call-to-action to farmers in Canada and the U.S. asking them to report from the field on their planting progress. Since that time, a number of crops have been planted and growers are starting to see the fruits of their labour – with plants sprouting from the soil.

As our readers flock to follow the #fromthefield and #plant13 Twitter hashtags, many have been especially interested in the pictures and reports on crops that are already starting to grow.
