Jocelyn Anderson, a devoted advocate and fourth-generation farmer, harnesses her leadership within the Farm Bureau to propel sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices.

Farming on her family’s land in California, Jocelyn grows almonds and walnuts and manages a walnut hulling operation. Her leadership journey has been marked by impactful roles, including vice chair of the AFBF Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee and chair of the California YF&R Committee.

Her advice for engaging with the Farm Bureau is straightforward: seize every opportunity. This proactive approach has enabled her to influence a wide range of stakeholders, from local farmers to national policymakers, educating them on the sustainability challenges and innovations in modern farming.

Jocelyn's commitment to advocacy is reflected in her advice to educate others about the importance of active participation in organizations that champion the rights and future of family farms. Her leadership extends to her current role as the 1st vice president of the Glenn County Farm Bureau and her contributions as a board member of the local Resource Conservation District.
