New 8 Rotor Tedder Has Rotor Height and Angle Adjustments

McHale has officially launched its latest tedder, the Propel T8.

The new 8-rotor tedder is designed to deliver efficient hay spreading and drying performance for farmers.

After several years of development in Europe and Ireland, the company is now introducing this advanced tedder to the US market.

Built with durability and productivity in mind, the Propel T8 is ideal for both large-scale farmers and professional contractors, Eoin Clarke, marketing executive with McHale, told Farms.com.

The machine features rotor height and angle adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune it to different field conditions. It is equipped with double hooked tines that lift and spread the crop evenly across a 33-foot width, improving airflow and reducing drying time.

A standout feature is the hydraulic folding headland management system. This system ensures that hay is kept clear of field edges, water troughs, and other obstacles.

The tedder also includes a heavy-duty spring system, which helps keep the rotors floating smoothly across uneven ground for consistent performance.

Those looking for a dependable, high-performance tedder will find the Propel T8 a practical solution for improving forage quality. McHale expects strong interest from the US market thanks to its solid build and smart features.
