Nebraska experienced one of its worst wildfire seasons on record this year, with an estimated 981-thousand acres burned across the state. And while the flames have long since been extinguished, the recovery process is far from over. As ranchers work to restore damaged pastures and rangeland, another concern is beginning to take root, invasive plants that could threaten the recovery of those grasslands.
