4-H Canada is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 TD 4-H Agriculture Scholarships. Twelve 4-H members were selected from across Canada, and each are to received $2,500 to pursue their post-secondary studies in the field of agriculture, agricultural science or agricultural business beginning in the fall of 2017.

“Having a partner like TD that understands the importance of positive youth development and providing them with opportunities for growth is a privilege for our organization,” said Shannon Benner, CEO of 4-H Canada. “By investing in the future of our youth, TD is helping to promote and cultivate a true spirit of leadership, responsibility and sense of community that is at the heart of 4-H.”

By continuing to provide young Canadians with these opportunities, 4-H Canada and TD are helping to ensure youth have the necessary tools and guidance in order to succeed in life-long learning.

The delivery of these programs would not be possible without the ongoing and long-term partnerships with organizations like TD that share this vision and recognize the importance of advancing positive youth development in Canada.

“We're proud to help students pursue their academic goals in agriculture-related disciplines through these scholarships," said Derek Koppe, Senior Vice President, Agricultural Services, Business Banking, TD Bank Group.  "Our 4-H scholarship is one of several ways TD has committed to supporting the agriculture industry in Canada."

4-H Canada and TD would like to congratulate all the 2017 TD 4-H Post-Secondary Scholarship Recipients!
