New AgFiniti features allow farmers to import, view, manage, and export guidance lines from any device with no extra software required
AgFiniti’s cloud-based platform received a major firmware update in early November, introducing four key features designed to help farmers better manage their guidance lines. With this enhancement, farmers can now import, view, manage, and export guidance lines all in one place—without extra software.
For many producers, managing guidance lines has been a persistent challenge. While Ag Leader’s SMS desktop software offered robust tools, some users wanted a simpler, more mobile-friendly solution. This update delivers exactly that, allowing farmers to manage guidance lines directly from their phone and stay connected across their entire operation.
Dealers also benefit from the upgrade. Previously unable to remotely access SMS for customer support, dealers can now view guidance line data for faster, more responsive service. In the cab, users save time troubleshooting issues like lines created in the wrong direction before they become costly frustrations. Farmers can also refine and organize guidance groups without losing data, making the process smoother and more intuitive.
“Ag Leader users could easily import field data like boundaries, prescriptions, and variety maps, but guidance lines remained the missing piece,” said Luke James, dealer success manager. “Farmers want a simpler, more flexible way to bring in their lines with no extra steps or software hurdles. This update makes guidance line management more intuitive and mobile-friendly, helping users manage, import, and export their guidance lines, further strengthening Ag Leader’s position where data flow and usability are key.”
With these improvements, Ag Leader removes barriers in guidance line management, empowering farmers and dealers alike to stay connected, efficient, and in control.
