Bill C-234 has passed second reading.

The House of Commons voted in favour of the bill Wednesday, sending it to the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food for review.

Conservative MP Ben Lobb's private member’s bill would eliminate the carbon tax on propane and natural gas for drying grain and heating livestock barns and greenhouses.
