CLAAS FARMPOINT Expands Into North Dakota

OMAHA, Neb. — CLAAS FARMPOINT just opened its doors in North Dakota, expanding services and investing in the future of area farmers. The temporary Buffalo, N.D., location will ensure farmers have immediate access to equipment, service and support. Meanwhile, construction is underway on a permanent facility in the Jamestown area, as well as a second location in Devils Lake. The Devils Lake location is scheduled to open ahead of 2025 fall harvest season.

“With North Dakota leading the nation in wheat production, ranking second in alfalfa acreage, and placing among the top 10 states for corn and soybean output, it was a natural next step for expansion,” says Opie Kelley, CLAAS FARMPOINT North Dakota complex manager “To the farmers of North Dakota: we’re here, we’re ready and we’re committed to supporting your success — now and into the future.”

In August 2024, Claas and Butler Machinery announced Butler would stop selling Claas equipment. Also in August of 2024, Ziegler Inc. announced it was ending its long-standing Claas combine distribution agreement.
