Corn Crop Rated 66% Good to Excellent

Cooler temperatures and scattered rainfall helped maintain soil moisture levels for many throughout the State.

The weekly Indiana Crop Weather Report from the USDA is reporting that soil moisture levels increased slightly from the previous week, with 79 percent of topsoil moisture reported as adequate or surplus.

The average temperature for the week last week was 68.1 degrees about 5 degrees below normal for the State.
