FarmCash Applications Now Open For Alberta Producers

Farmers can now apply for a post-harvest fall cash advance.
 
Through FarmCash, Alberta producers can apply for a cash advance of up to $1 million on over 50 agricultural commodities from crops and livestock to honey.
 
Farmers can complete the online application for free, with funds for qualified recipients expected to arrive in three to five business days. 
 
With FarmCash, producers may be eligible to receive cash advances up to $1 million, with the first $100,000 interest-free, and the remainder at TD Prime minus 0.75 per cent.  
 
FarmCash is a competitive Advance Payments Program option available under Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and administered by the Alberta Wheat Commission.

He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis, where he focused on intestinal health and metabolic responses in pigs. His research evaluates alternatives to antibiotics, targeting gut health and performance in nursery pigs.
