How Many Safety Items Can You Find On Your Farm?

A provincial farm group is celebrating Canadian Agricultural Safety Week with a scavenger hunt.

AgSafe Alberta Executive Director, Jody Wacowich, says from March 11-19, they'll post a specific safety item on twitter and their website.

"Each day of the week, we're going to have a different item regarding farm safety we're going to have people looking for and taking pictures of on their farm."

She says the first challenge on Monday will be to find someone wearing personal protective equipment.

You can then post the picture on twitter using the hashtag #AgSafeHunt or send it to them through email to info@agsafeab.ca.

Each picture you post will be one entry into a draw to win farm first aid kits.

"We want to share what people are doing on their farm," Wacowich says. "Maybe there's an idea out there that somebody's doing and other people could say, we could easily adopt that on our farm."

You can visit their website for more scavenger hunt details.
