Is It Too Early To Seed Canola?

 
Farmers are weighing their options when it comes to seeding canola.
 
Angela Brackenreed, agronomist for the Canola Council of Canada, says it all depends on a grower's appetite for risk.
 
She notes there is a good chance of a spring frost in the next couple of weeks, however canola has its best chance of reaching yield potential when seeded in early May.
 
Brackenreed has some advice for producers.
