LEMKEN enhances footprint in Canada

LEMKEN, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers for soil cultivation, seeding and crop care machinery settled down in 2018 LEMKEN Canada Inc. as a fully-fledged subsidiary after two successful decades offering products and service all over the country. Scott Rodger leads the subsidiary from January 2020 as Managing Director and Sales Manager. With him, LEMKEN has found a broadly experienced and passionate agprofessional.

He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and brings a work history range of over 24 years all of which has been spent in the agricultural machinery market. Scott started out first at a dealership before working for a European-based manufacturer. His career began in a field sales position before assuming a role in product management and later in general management responsibilities.

LEMKEN Canada looks back at a continuous growth due to a consequent market development. Mainly with its cultivators and compact disc harrows, but also with ploughs and further products LEMKEN is represented in all provinces where professional farming is possible. That made Canada one of the top five export countries for the German farm machinery manufacturer.

LEMKEN Canada Inc. is located in St-Hyacinthe (Quebec) from where it is supporting existing and new dealers to better serve customers. The site comprises 15.000 SF. With 11.200 SF, the warehouse provides the capacity to ensure the spare parts supply for whole Canada. The growing team on site consists out of eleven people including a Parts Manager and a Regional Service Manager in order to provide always the best service quality to dealers and farmers both.
