Morris Group Granted Creditor Protection

The Morris Group was granted creditor protection Friday by a Saskatoon judge.
 
The company which includes farm equipment manufacturer Morris Industries asked the court for protection from its creditors while it goes through a restructuring process.
 
In asking for financial protection, Morris identified slumping sales and poor weather as key issues impacting the company’s financial situation.
 
Morris Industries has a head office in Saskatoon, SK with plants in Yorkton, SK and Minnedosa, MB.
