Ontario Pork will host a Telephone Town Hall on Monday, February 22nd between 12:00 and 1:00PM EST for the pork industry.

This call will provide an update on PED and the Seneca Valley virus. Topics to be discussed include the following:

  • An update on PED – including new cases, surveillance results and ways to mitigate PED risks
  • PED elimination – key points to consider and implications for the industry
  • An update on Senecavirus – including plans for marketing and processing any Senecavirus-positive hogs
  • Question and Answers
