Syngenta Canada appoints Christina Stroud as Head of Corporate Affairs

Syngenta Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina Stroud, a strategic communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in agricultural communications, as Head of Corporate Affairs for the organization.
 
“We are extremely pleased to add Christina to the Syngenta team,” says Trevor Heck, President, Syngenta Canada. “Christina brings a valuable set of skills and experience to the organization that are well suited to furthering Syngenta activities in a broad range of areas including policy and advocacy, stakeholder relations and sustainability, all of which are critical to our ability to help advance Canadian agriculture.”
 
As Head of Corporate Affairs for Syngenta Canada, Christina will oversee corporate communications, government and industry relations and sponsorships and donations, among other activities, and will sit on the Canada Territory Leadership Team as well as the North America Business Sustainability Leadership Team.
 
“We are pleased to welcome Christina to the North America Business Sustainability function at Syngenta and look forward to continuing our work to accelerate innovation to support farmers and address some of the pressing challenges we collectively face,” says Chris Davison, Head of Business Sustainability in North America for Syngenta.
 
Christina is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, and brings a passion for agriculture and making a difference in her community to her position.
 
Christina will be based out of the Syngenta Canada Guelph, Ontario, office.
