TALC USA Transitions Production to Illinois

By Farms.com

TALC USA, a subsidiary of BRANDT, is embarking on a significant expansion initiative with the establishment of a new production facility in Curran, Illinois. This strategic move aims to bolster production capacity in the United States while optimizing logistics and reducing shipping costs for farmers.

Scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2024, the new production line will be operational in time to meet the demands of the 2025 planting season. Founder Steve Johnson expressed confidence in the decision, citing the benefits of integrating operations with BRANDT and leveraging its production expertise.

The Curran facility, overseen by the BRANDT Dealer Support group, is expected to create employment opportunities, with plans to hire 5-8 additional full-time employees. Recruitment efforts are underway, with the search for a plant production manager currently in progress.

Johnson emphasized the significance of the investment, highlighting the adoption of new, advanced equipment to ensure efficiency and scalability. He underscored TALC USA's commitment to innovation and growth, positioning the company for long-term success.

In addition to domestic expansion, TALC USA has ambitious plans for international growth and enhanced distribution. Further announcements regarding theses initiatives are anticipated later this year.

Founded on the principle of empowering American farmers with cutting-edge technology, TALC USA remains dedicated to its mission of enhancing revenue per acre. Through strategic partnerships and continuous research and development, the company continues to deliver innovative solutions to the agricultural market.
