USDA Export Sales Report

Wheat:   Net sales of 416,800 MT for delivery in the 2013/2014 marketing year were reported for Taiwan (90,100 MT), Mexico (80,800 MT), Peru (60,000 MT), the Philippines (55,500 MT), unknown destinations (39,500 MT), Brazil (27,700 MT, including 25,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,700 MT), and Italy (21,000 MT).  Decreases were reported for Japan (20,100 MT), the French West Indies (6,500 MT), and Belgium (2,500 MT).  Net sales of 11,000 MT for 2014/2015 were reported for Mexico.  Exports of 312,000 MT were primarily to Brazil (85,200 MT), Japan (46,200 MT), Guatemala (45,200 MT), Venezuela (43,200 MT), Nigeria (37,400 MT), and Trinidad (18,000 MT).  

Optional Origin Sales: For 2013/2014, outstanding optional origin sales total 30,000 MT, all Italy.

Exports for Own Account: For 2013/2014, the current exports for own account balance is 19,200 MT, all Belgium-Luxembourg.

Corn:  Net sales of 1,718,600 MT for 2013/2014 were reported for Japan (382,400 MT, including 76,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 9,000 MT), unknown destinations (330,600 MT), South Korea (308,200 MT), China (289,400 MT, including 55,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 6,700 MT), Mexico (221,100 MT), and Egypt (110,000 MT).  Exports of 710,200 MT were primarily to Mexico (295,400 MT), China (194,100 MT), Japan (132,700 MT), Colombia (38,300 MT), and Indonesia (22,600 MT).

Optional Origin Sales: For 2013/2014, outstanding optional origin sales total 100,000 MT, all Mexico.

Barley:  There were no sales reported during the week.  Exports of 200 MT were to Taiwan.

Sorghum:  Net sales of 18,800 MT for 2013/2014 were for Japan (20,500 MT, including 10,700 MT switched from unknown destinations).  Decreases were reported for unknown destinations (1,700 MT).  Exports of 29,800 MT were to Japan (29,700 MT) and Mexico (100 MT).

Optional Origin Sales: For 2013/2014, outstanding optional origin sales total 60,000 MT, all China.

Rice:  Net sales of 76,600 MT for 2013/2014 were reported for Japan (37,000 MT), Turkey (22,400 MT), Mexico (7,100 MT), Honduras (2,400 MT), and Canada (1,800 MT).  Exports of 38,000 MT were primarily to Mexico (26,600 MT), Canada (2,600 MT), Jordan (1,900 MT), the Dominican Republic (1,500 MT), and Japan (1,100 MT).

Soybeans:  Net sales of 1,018,400 MT for 2013/2014 were reported for China (1,058,400 MT, including 460,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 157,900 MT), Indonesia (113,800 MT, including 74,100 MT switched from unknown destinations), Japan (67,200 MT, including 18,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Spain (66,600 MT, including 65,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), the Netherlands (44,500 MT, including 40,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Mexico (31,500 MT).  Decreases were reported for unknown destinations (382,000 MT) and Russia (30,000 MT).  Net sales of 18,700 MT for 2014/2015 were reported for Japan.  Exports of 2,159,800 MT were primarily to China (1,690,900 MT), Mexico (93,400 MT), Indonesia (92,700 MT), Spain (66,600 MT), and Egypt (53,400 MT).

Optional Origin Sales: For 2013/2014, optional origin sales totaling 55,000 MT were reported for China.  Outstanding optional origin sales total 176,000 MT and are for China (110,000 MT) and unknown destinations (66,000 MT).

Exports for Own Account: For 2013/2014, exports for own account totaling 25,200 MT were reported to Canada.  Decreases in exports for own account totaling 53,400 MT were reported to Canada.  The current exports for own account balance is 47,400 MT, all Canada.

Soybean Cake and Meal:  Net sales of 287,800 MT for 2013/2014 were reported for the Philippines (129,400 MT), Mexico (65,700 MT), Ireland (40,000 MT, including 25,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,000 MT), Italy (37,000 MT, including 33,700 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Ecuador (33,000 MT).  Decreases were reported for unknown destinations (89,900 MT), Canada (17,800 MT), and Jamaica (500 MT).  Exports of 257,100 MT were primarily to Vietnam (49,900 MT), Ireland (47,800 MT), Italy (37,000 MT), and Cuba (25,700 MT).   

Soybean Oil:  Net sales of 65,900 MT for 2013/2014 were reported for unknown destinations (37,700 MT), the Dominican Republic (16,400 MT), Senegal (4,200 MT), and Nicaragua (4,100 MT).   Decreases were reported for Canada (500 MT).  Exports of 10,600 MT were primarily to Venezuela (4,000 MT), Mexico (2,700 MT), Nicaragua (1,600 MT), and Haiti (1,000 MT).   

Cotton:  Net Upland sales of 303,700 RB for 2013/2014 were reported for Turkey (95,800 RB), China (91,700 RB, including 8,800 RB switched from Indonesia and decreases of 200 RB), Thailand (29,100 RB), Vietnam (20,300 RB), and Indonesia (13,500 RB, including 1,100 RB switched from Japan).  Net sales of 900 RB for 2014/2015 were reported for Japan.  Exports of 77,600 RB were to China (25,300 RB), Mexico (13,800 RB), Turkey (7,400 RB), Indonesia (6,000 RB), and Thailand (4,900 RB).  Net American Pima sales of 3,100 RB for 2013/2014 were for China (2,200 RB), India (400 RB), Japan (300 RB), and Thailand (200 RB).  Exports of 16,800 RB were primarily to China (15,700 RB), Japan (500 RB), Thailand (200 RB), and Germany (200 RB).   

Optional Origin Sales: For 2013/2014, outstanding optional origin sales total 14,200 RB, and are for Thailand (9,300 RB), South Korea (4,600 RB), and Vietnam (300 RB).

Exports for Own Account: For 2013/2014, the current exports for own account balance is 53,800 RB, and is for China (53,400 RB) and Vietnam (400 RB).

Hides and Skins:  Net sales of 491,400 pieces, all whole cattle hides, for 2013 were reported.  The primary destinations were China (329,200 pieces), South Korea (73,300 pieces), Thailand (27,800 pieces), Taiwan (20,600 pieces), and Mexico (9,200 pieces).  Exports of 644,100 pieces were reported.  Whole cattle exports of 636,200 pieces were primarily to China (421,600 pieces), South Korea (126,900 pieces), Taiwan (18,600 pieces), Mexico (17,500 pieces), and Hong Kong (12,500 pieces).     

Net sales of 153,000 wet blues for 2013 were primarily for Vietnam (38,400 unsplit), Italy (28,300 unsplit and 7,600 grain splits), China (29,100 unsplit), Thailand (24,400 unsplit), and Mexico (11,800 grain splits and 100 unsplit).  Exports of 204,100 hides were primarily to Italy (54,400 unsplit and 2,000 grain splits), China (53,000 unsplit), Thailand (31,800 unsplit), Mexico (21,400 grain splits and 2,100 unsplit), and Vietnam (14,400 unsplit).  Net sales of splits totaling 288,400 pounds reported for Italy (295,700 pounds) and Uruguay (42,400 pounds), were partially offset by decreases for Vietnam (38,400 pounds), China (8,500 pounds), South Korea (2,300 pounds), and Hong Kong (400 pounds).  Exports of 1,047,300 pounds were to South Korea (375,400 pounds), Italy (295,700 pounds), Hong Kong (212,300 pounds), Vietnam (119,800 pounds), Uruguay (42,400 pounds), and Mexico (1,700 pounds).

Beef:  Net sales reductions of 18,500 MT for 2013 resulted as increases for Italy (100 MT), were more than offset by decreases for Hong Kong (6,300 MT), Mexico (6,000 MT), Japan (3,300 MT), Chile (900 MT), and Taiwan (600 MT).  Net sales of 700 MT for 2014 were for Mexico (600 MT) and Taiwan (100 MT).  Exports of 13,300 MT were primarily to Hong Kong (3,600 MT), Japan (3,100 MT), Mexico (2,300 MT), South Korea (1,400 MT), and Canada (1,300 MT).

Pork:  Net sales of 12,700 MT for 2013 were primarily for Mexico (5,100 MT), Honduras (1,900 MT), Japan (1,400 MT), South Korea (1,200 MT), and China (500 MT).  Exports of 12,300 MT were reported to Mexico (3,300 MT), Honduras (2,000 MT), Hong Kong (1,400 MT), Japan (1,300 MT), and Canada (1,000 MT).
