1967 Ford 3000, 8-Speed, 3 Cylinder Gas Tractor w/ Live 540 PTO & Fasco 1200 Front Loader — Runs & Drives, Hydraulics Work, Minor TLC Needed
Description:
1967 Ford 3000, 3 cylinder gas engine, 8-Speed (4 x high/low) with Live 540 PTO. Starts, runs, and drives well — hydraulics fully functional. Comes with a Fasco 1200 series front-end loader (period-correct fit for the 2000/3000/3600 series), which is currently mounted and operable.
Known issues:
- Starter is going out — currently needs a tap/knock to engage. Straightforward starter replacement or rebuild.
- PTO is not currently engaging. Not diagnosed by a professional, but based on how it's behaving, it looks like a linkage issue rather than an internal PTO problem — likely something disconnected rather than worn out. Selling as-is; buyer should plan to diagnose.
Covers included but not currently mounted:
- Left and right engine side covers (plus a spare left-side cover)
- Front cover panel (radiator cover with integrated headlight mounts) — this panel needs repair.
Condition summary:
This is a solid working tractor, not a parts machine — it'll go right to work as-is for someone who doesn't mind the cosmetics or wants to run it as a loader tractor while they get around to the starter/PTO. It's also a strong candidate for someone wanting to bring it back to showroom condition — mechanically sound base, correct-fit loader already on it, and all the sheet metal parts/ covers are here (just needs fresh paint and the front panel repair).
