Award Program Celebrates Agri-Food Innovation in Ontario

The deadline to apply for Ontario’s Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence is fast approaching – Friday, Jan. 18th.

The prestigious program recognizes innovation and excellence in the agriculture sector. Previous recipients of the program have been farmers, food processors and agri-businesses.

The following is a breakdown of the awards that will be handed out:

•One Premier's Award ($75,000)
•One Minister's Award ($50,000)
•Three Leaders in Innovation Awards ($25,000 each)
•Forty-five provincial awards ($5,000 each )
