AGCO Breaks Ground on New European Parts Distribution Centre in France to Better Serve Dealers and Farmers

AGCO Corporation (NYSE: AGCO), a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and precision ag technology, broke ground today on its new Europe & Middle East (EME) Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Amnéville – Les Portes de l’Orne, France. While primarily serving EME, the facility is also significant globally as the master depot for supplying parts to North America, South America and Asia Pacific from Europe.

Scheduled to open by the end of 2026, the advanced logistics facility will play a pivotal role in AGCO’s Farmer-First strategy. Spanning 95,000m² under roof, the new PDC will consolidate five existing operations in nearby Ennery into one optimized logistics hub. It will support 24/7 ecommerce parts ordering, integrate advanced automation technologies and manage over five million order lines annually, significantly improving speed and accuracy in order fulfillment.

“This is more than a building, it is a bold step forward in how we serve our farmers,” said Stefan Caspari, Senior Vice President, Customer Success and Business Effectiveness. “This new center reflects our commitment to our people, our farmers and our local community to delivering the right part, at the right place, every time — faster, smarter and more sustainably.”

The overall site investment in Amnéville totals approximately €87 million, with AGCO’s  low-emission, sustainable facility representing approximately €17 million of that investment. The new location will continue to serve dealers and farmers globally from the Metz metropolitan area, where AGCO has operated for over 30 years.

“Our Parts business is a key contributor to AGCO’s global performance,” said Jena Holtberg-Benge, Vice President, Aftersales. “This new distribution center will allow us to scale operations, improve fill rates and support our sustainability goals, all while delivering excellent service to our customers and improving wellbeing for our people.”

Designed with sustainability at its core, the facility will be powered by renewable electricity, solar panels and renewable heating from the metropolitan hot water supply. Its entire fleet of material handling equipment will be electric, contributing to AGCO’s global commitment to reduce Scopes 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2033. AGCO also planted the first of nearly 300 trees that will enhance biodiversity, improve workplace quality of life and revitalize a site that has remained vacant for more than a decade.

Ennery’s experienced team is closely collaborating on the design and development of the new site, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of service. The facility will bring together more than 400 employees under one roof, with a strong focus on ergonomics, safety and working comfort.
