Cattle Markets Start 2020 On A Positive Note

The cattle markets are off to a good start in 2020.
 
Sandy Russell is with Spring Creek Consulting.
 
"Generally speaking, we're starting 2020 in pretty good shape," she said. "Markets are strong and there's optimism in the marketplace that going through the first quarter of the year, things are going to look pretty good."
 
She notes demand for beef remains strong.
 
"Throughout 2019, even back in 2018, consumers have consistently been buying beef and seeing strong demand in North America and around the world and that is put right back into our marketplace and our markets and so that has created some strong pricing."
