Industry leaders gather for networking education and growth opportunities
Registration is now open for the 2026 EMDA and FEMA Fall Convention and Industry Showcase, scheduled for October 27 to 29 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event will bring together equipment manufacturers, distributors, independent sales representatives, and industry service providers from across North America.
Co-hosted by the Equipment Marketing and Distribution Association (EMDA) and the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA), the convention aims to strengthen business relationships and create new opportunities within the agricultural equipment industry.
Participants will have access to educational programs, networking events, and business development activities designed to support industry growth.
A key highlight of the convention will be a presentation by Alex Weber, an award-winning speaker, author, coach, and NBC television host. His session will focus on leadership, overcoming challenges, adapting to change, and achieving success in an evolving business environment.
The event will also feature discussions on important industry topics, including artificial intelligence, global trade, tariffs, market conditions, and agricultural technology. Experts will share insights on how changing economic conditions and emerging innovations may affect farm equipment distribution and customer demand.
Attendees will have opportunities to participate in structured networking activities that help manufacturers connect with distributors and sales representatives. Special contact sessions and roundtable discussions will encourage meaningful conversations and productive business relationships.
Additional breakout sessions will provide practical information on business growth, customer engagement, capital spending trends, and international market opportunities. Industry professionals will also share strategies for improving sales performance and supporting dealers and distributors.
The Industry Showcase will feature exhibits from manufacturers, service providers, agricultural organizations, and media companies. The showcase is designed to encourage direct interaction between exhibitors and decision-makers within the distribution channel.
Networking activities will continue throughout the event with social gatherings, industry receptions, and special themed programs. Attendees will also enjoy unique New Orleans experiences, including cultural activities and a closing dinner cruise on the Mississippi River.
