EnviTec Biogas expands to US

EnviTec Biogas has highlighted its strategic locations in the US, which bring proximity to critical partners and suppliers, as well as abundant warehouse space housing a total of 3.5 million of spare parts.

Located in Rochester, New York, Watertown, South Dakota and with headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, the company said its service involves short distances and comprehensive support during the sales, construction phase, service and operations.

The 9,200 square feet combined office/warehouse in Rochester contains approximately 1.2 million worth of spare parts, while Watertown offers 11,000 square feet of combined office/warehouse with 2.3 million of spare and wear parts in stock to enable quick service response times.

With its entry into the US market, EnviTec Biogas has successfully completed eight biogas plant projects with two connected to the gas grid.

Four additional plants, which EnviTec Biogas is implementing for its customer SJI Renewable Energy Ventures LLC (SJI), together with its development partner REV LNG LLC (REV), will be connected to the grid in the near future.

Von Lehmden, CEO of EnviTec Biogas USA Inc., responsible for plant construction in US, said the company is planning further possible locations with the 25-strong US team: “We are currently pursuing projects in California, Idaho, Nebraska, Colorado, Texas, and Wisconsin. We’re also interested in the Southwest,” he said.

There are currently 11 plants under construction, two flowing biomethane to the grid and two which will be brought online in the next month, with more to follow this year.

“Another three to five projects are currently in the pipeline,” added Timothy Logan, president of EnviTec Biogas Construction LLC.
