Export Conditions to China Remain Unchanged

Canadian Canola growers will see export conditions to China remain the same for now.

China was expected to lower its standard for foreign material in canola shipments on Friday moving from the current level of 2.5% down to 1% over their concern about blackleg.

The Canola Council of Canada says there is no significant risk of spreading the disease through foreign material.

Canadian and Chinese officials continue to work on a permanent, science-based solution.
