Feed Pea Benchmark

 
There were some significant changes in the prices for cereal grains over the past two weeks in the western Prairies, with low vomi wheat increasing by $5-10/T and barley prices in Saskatchewan escalating by $15/T.
 
Corn pricing remained flat in Manitoba but increased by $10/T in the western Prairies, with accompanying increases of $10-20/T for corn DDGS in these areas.
 
Soybean meal markets plunged another $10- $20/T based on falling futures market values. Canola meal values failed to follow soy and remained unchanged across the Prairies.
 
 Faba bean and feed pea pricing remained soft throughout the Prairies, trading at $225-230/T in Alberta and Saskatchewan and $245-250/T in Manitoba.
