Four Couples To Compete For 2015 Manitoba's Outstanding Young Farmers Award

Four Manitoba couples have been announced as nominees for the 2015 Manitoba's Outstanding Young Farmers award.
 
They include Matt & Tanya Plett of Blumenort, Andrew & Jaclyn Platt of Arborg, Mark & Cori Pawluk of Birtle, and Andreas & Jamie Zinn of Springstein.
 
The winner will be announced at the Manitoba Outstanding Young Farmer Banquet in Winnipeg on February 28th.
 
The winning couple will then go on to compete at the national level in Edmonton in November.
 
Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers’ Program is an annual competition to recognize farmers that exemplify excellence in their profession.
 
The annual competition is open to participants 18 to 39 years of age.
