Thursday, January 24th
  • 10 am to 4:15 pm– Advanced Organic Cropping Strategies by Klaas & Mary-Howell Martens of Lakeview Organic Grain
Friday, January 25th
  • 9am to 12pm + 1:15pm to 4:15pm – Half day workshops on layer flock production, greenhouses, soil health and perennial vegetables.
  • 4:15pm to 7:15pm – Organic Food & Wine Dinner
  • 7:30pm to 9:30pm – Keynote Forum – Women in Organics
Saturday, January 26th
  • Workshops 9am to 4:45pm
  • Trade Show 9am to 5:30pm
Sunday, January 28th
  • Workshops 9am to 3:15pm
  • Trade Show 10am to 4pm

Guelph University Centre – 50 Stone Road East, Guelph, Ontario N1G 2W1
 
*Located directly north of the bus turning circle, just off South Ring Road.
 
Parking
  • Thursday/Friday – paid parking during the day / free parking after 4pm
  • Saturday/Sunday – free parking
WHAT:
  • Free Organic Trade Show & Tasting Fair with over 140 exhibitors and over 35 vendors sampling.
  • Exhibitors include trade suppliers, organizations and organic products.  Full exhibitor list available at http://guelphorganicconf.ca/exhibitor-list/
  • Over 40 workshops over 4 days (by paid admission)
  • Workshops cover a diverse range of topics including organic crop and livestock production, organic gardening, permaculture and nutrition.
  • The event attracts consumers, gardening enthusiasts, organic food growers, industry professionals, food brokers and retailers.  Expected to attract 2,000 attendees from across Canada and the United States.

MEDIA NOTES
 
Trade Show photo and interview opportunities.  (Saturday/Sunday)
  • Trade Show is usually busiest Saturday 11am to 3pm.  Arrive early for best parking.
  • Look for cement stairwells where overview shots of main floor trade show are possible.
  • Don’t miss the 80 exhibitor tables in the lower level / basement Trade Show
  • Media Passes for Saturday & Sunday Workshops available by contacting Susan Ratz at communications@guelphorganicconf.ca or via cell/text 226-236-5790.  Thursday and Friday workshop passes also available in limited numbers.
  • Media are encouraged to visit the registration room upon arrival to sign in. 
  • If unable to attend but interested in doing an interview, contact Susan with your desired focus and she will coordinate individuals to interview on that topic.
