India Increases Chickpea Tariff

 
India has increased their import tariff on chickpeas by 10 per cent.
 
Last December 21, India put a 30 per cent tariff on chickpeas and lentils, following the 50 per cent tariff on pea imports put in place last November.
 
The import tariff on chickpeas is now 40 per cent.
