FuelPositive Moves Closer to Green Ammonia System Launch, advancing its FP300 green ammonia project in Manitoba, bringing decentralized fertilizer production one step closer to commercial use for Canadian farmers.

FuelPositive Corp. has reported progress in preparing its patented FP300 on-farm Green Ammonia production system for demonstration at the Hiebert farm in Sperling, Manitoba.

Following an inspection conducted in mid-October, the company is working to complete outstanding installation and regulatory requirements before its anticipated final certification inspection.

Intertek's inspection confirmed that several major components of the demonstration facility already meet Canadian certification standards. Only a limited number of specific tasks remain, and the inspection team provided guidance on completing the necessary work.

FuelPositive, Stantec, Intertek and the company's expanded Manitoba-based technical team met at the farm to review equipment requirements, engineering modifications, procurement priorities and installation schedules.

The company is coordinating electrical and mechanical work with qualified contractors while prioritizing local suppliers for outstanding components. Documentation and regulatory submissions are also progressing.

FuelPositive has appointed Stantec to manage the project, coordinate engineering activities and assist with provincial approvals involving Manitoba Inspection and Technical Services and the provincial utility.

"Completing an integrated system requires managing many interdependent requirements, from equipment availability to field adaptation and government certification," said Ian Clifford, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

"Varying lead times may necessitate alternative sourcing and engineering review. FuelPositive has tasked Stantec with coordinating the remaining work under the Company's oversight. Qualified specialists and suppliers are supporting the electrical, chemical and mechanical regulatory work required to bring the Manitoba demonstration system online. We've brought together an exceptional team that works closely together and shares our values and vision for decentralized Green Ammonia production."

The company has also added chemical engineering consultants Dogan Erdemir and Aysegul Yagmur Goren Kara to support activation planning, testing, validation and system optimization.

"The Manitoba demonstration offers an important opportunity to link operating experience with further research and development," said Erdemir. "Our immediate focus is to support the team's demonstration objectives while exploring how complementary technologies could enhance future system performance and create additional value."

Host farmer Curtis Hiebert reported growing interest in the project among farmers and agricultural industry stakeholders.

"Farmers, industry stakeholders, and others across the sector, including people around the world, keep asking how the project is progressing," said Hiebert. "The prospect of producing fertilizer on our own farms, as we need it, is what makes this project so exciting. I remain committed to this demonstration and look forward to seeing what the system can deliver under real-world farming conditions."

Co-Founder and Chief Impact Officer Luna Charlebois also highlighted the need for improved Canadian funding programmes for demonstration-stage technologies, calling for simpler application processes and broader eligibility for publicly listed companies.

Once certification and regulatory approvals are secured, FuelPositive plans to complete final testing and activate the FP300 system.
