Iteris, Inc,, a leader in providing information solutions to the transportation and agriculture markets, has launched its ClearAg mobile application beta program.
The ClearAg Mobile solution is a precision farming application geared to provide crop protection companies, crop retail organizations, agronomic consultants, advisors and growers, with real-time access to field-specific crop growth metrics, precision weather and global soil condition information.
"ClearAg Mobile extends our ClearAg precision farming platform so that regardless of where you are, and no matter which device you use, you can easily access our field-level weather intelligence to maximize crop production at all stages of the lifecycle, including planting, maintenance and harvest," said Tom Blair, senior vice president of Iteris' Performance Analytics Division. The ClearAg mobile application is built upon Iteris' high-resolution soil and weather crop growth application program interfaces (APIs). ClearAg provides precision weather, global soil and crop growth modeling capabilities, as well as the means to provide custom crop growth, nutrient and pest or disease modeling services.
