Lengthy dry conditions affecting grain prices across Saskatchewan & American prairies

 
 
A prolonged stretch of dry weather across Saskatchewan and throughout parts of the American grainbelt are driving up the prices of grain.
 
Market analyst Jon Driedger of FarmLink Marketing Solutions says some U.S. wheat futures have risen by as much 50 cents a bushel due to ongoing dryness.
 
“The nature of dryness in the market is such as there’s this slow, creeping build and of course, it can disappear almost overnight, literally,” he said.
