Missouri Pork Association Endorses Chris Koster for Governor

Today, the Missouri Pork Association announced its endorsement of Attorney General Chris Koster for Governor.

“Chris Koster has been a  supporter of Missouri agriculture and the pork industry, and we are proud to support him in his bid for Governor,” said Scott Phillips, chairman of the Missouri Pork Association. “We believe he is committed to strengthening the state’s agricultural climate for Missouri farm families now and in the future.”

Attorney General Koster has taken the lead on many agricultural issues, including being a strong advocate for the recent Missouri Right to Farm Amendment. He has taken on the EPA over their onerous Waters of the U.S. Rule and challenged California’s restrictions on interstate commerce for agricultural products.

The Missouri Pork Association represents the state’s pork producers in the areas of promotion, research, education and legislation.
