Momentum - Advancing the Bison Legacy

Momentum - Advancing the Bison Legacy is the theme for the Canadian Bison Association’s 35th Annual Convention underway in Regina.

The National Bison herd is currently at about 150 thousand animals, with Saskatchewan accounting for about 1/3 of that production.

The CBA’s Executive Director Terry Kreminuk says they’ve seen more interest in production as demand for bison products increases.

The Canadian National Bison Sale is set for Tuesday with 81 animals is the sale this year during Canadian Western Agribition.

A sale catalogue is available here.
