Morris Industries shows off new quantum air drill

Morris Industries launched its new quantum air drill at Canada's Farm Progress Show.

It's their next generation of contour drill.

President and CEO Ben Voss says a new trulaser welding technique means welds are 154 per cent stronger.

"Means you can run it faster, you can run it deeper, you can also do more things with it that our current drill would not stand up to those requirements, most of our competitors wouldn't either," he said. "This allows farmers to try brand new things that they would have never tried like different row spacing options, different seeding speeds different seeding depths and that's really what they're after is that they want to know it's consistent, reliable it'll work and it won't break down on them."
