Ottawa and Quebec Provide Financial Assistance to Rochef Chocolatier to Implement a Quality Management System

Quebec City, Quebec – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

The Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec support enhancing the competitiveness of food processing companies.

M. Greg Fergus, member of parliament for Hull-Aylmer, on behalf of the federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, and Maryse Gaudreault, Member of the Quebec National Assembly for Hull, on behalf of the Quebec Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Laurent Lessard, announced financial assistance of up to $77,640 to Rochef Chocolatier inc., of Gatineau, for the company's project to implement a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) quality management system.

This financial assistance is being provided through the Quebec Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food's Programme Levier, which is jointly funded under the Canada–Quebec Growing Forward 2 agreement.
