Feeding program options are just one of the topics to be covered in the Feed What You Need webinar, taking place Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., and presented by Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist at the Alberta Ag Info Centre.
Beef producers are facing numerous issues when feeding cattle over this winter. A shortage of hay or silage, lower than average forage quality, a long feeding period and animals coming into winter in poor condition makes it more difficult to provide a balanced ration to the animals. This webinar will discuss some feeding program options available, problems to avoid and how to get information from experts in the field of animal nutrition.
