Saskatchewan Cattle Prices Continue Upward Spiral In Latest Weekly Summary

 
Cattle prices across Saskatchewan continued to move upward in the latest weekly market summary.
 
Provincial livestock economist Brad Marceniuk says feeder steer prices were about five dollars per hundredweight higher during the week.
 
He says feeder steer prices rose from one to nine dollars per hundredweight with the lightweight 300 to 400 pounds showing the biggest price gain.
 
Benchmark feeder steers in the 500 to 600 pound category rose 5 dollars 50 cents to average 218 dollars 75 cents.
