Saskatchewan Feeder Cattle Prices On The Rise In Latest Weekly Summary

 
Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were mixed but mostly higher during the past week.
 
The latest weekly summary from the Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture says prices were rising due to a weaker Canadian dollar.
 
Feeder steers below 600 pounds were on the decline while the heavier weight categories were on the rise.
 
Benchmark feeder steers in the 500 to 600 pound category were down 1 dollar 10 cents to average 202 dollars 40 cents per hundredweight.
 
Feeder heifers were mixed but overall higher in most weight categories.
