The harvest floor is expected to reopen May 11th. The facility will be fully operational by late May.

The Sioux Falls facility has been closed for more than three weeks. It's one of the largest pork processing facilities in the U.S., representing four to five percent of American pork production.

To date, over 2,000 Smithfield employees have been tested for COVID-19.
