Some Rain for Eastern Dry Bean Areas

Eastern dry bean production regions finally received some rain this past week, with those in the west remain overly wet, according to the latest weekly update from Blenheim, ON-based Thompsons Ltd.

ONTARIO:

The Ontario crop looks good overall although more rain will be necessary. Most of the area received some rain on Friday and over the weekend. Amounts vary throughout the province. Temperatures are in the 30s (85s F) for most of the week with chances of thunder showers on Thursday.
